Course reviews

“Michael Shellshear is a masterful Alexander teacher.  He guides one into freedom, not just physically but also on a deeper level, addressing many layers of one’s experience at the same time. The knowledge he imparts about Alexander’s teachings and its relationship to the human experience will remain with you for a lifetime.”
Justine Bristow
"Without exaggeration, Alexander inner awareness is my daily (and hourly) mainstay in keeping upright! Forward and upward is my awareness mantra, without ever becoming just a blind habit.  Thank you!
I can truthfully say that I wouldn’t be walking now without knowledge of the Alexander technique: it is the central axis of all my exercises (and every movement has become an exercise) - not just an awareness of the physical state, but of the habitual, the correctional and the deeper awareness states, which are all interdependent. Michael, as do all good Alexander teachers, transmits to the pupil a very fine inner consciousness, which displays itself through an innate sense of how the body works through its internal connections and structures, It is, literally, life-saving."
