A pragmatic course designed as an introduction to mental health suitable for everyone to inspire us to look after our own mental health and guide us to safely support others in the workplace. It’s evidence-based and evidence-informed with practical tips and a dedicated resource section. On completion participants can download a toolkit of key learnings and links. 

By the end of this course you will have :
• Understood the benefits of creating a mentally healthy workplace and encouraging early help-seeking
• Explored the foundations of the mental health continuum and common mental health conditions
• Examined stress and identified ways to manage it
• Explored a framework for safe conversations to facilitate
• Applied your learnings to a case study

Emma Saccomani and Victoria Brookbank

Workplace Mental Health facilitators

Emma Saccomani and Victoria Brookbank co-founded Minds That Work to promote positive mental health and wellbeing for everyone, within the life they lead and that of the workplace.

Between them they have over 45 years of varied corporate experience, including Learning and Development, Psychotherapy and Corporate management in a range of sectors, so understand challenges faced at all levels in the world of work.

Their roles in the mental health charity sector (Victoria as a CEO and Emma as a trustee/volunteer) and lived experience personally and supporting loved ones drive them to create, down-to-earth practical training delivered in a compassionate and fun engaging way.
